Tessanna Hoare is a British post-war and contemporary artist, known for her evocative charcoal and pastel works, often featuring life studies and scenes such as "Man reading in Holland Park," which sold at auction in London in 2024.
Educated at Camberwell School of Art, City & Guilds, and Goldsmiths, she also works in sculpture, fresco, and window design. In 1986, she organised London's first Arts Auction for AIDS, highlighting her social engagement alongside her artistic practice.
Her career reflects both technical mastery and a commitment to using creativity as a means of expression and contribution to the wider community.
