18ct yellow gold retro cocktail ring set with a large synthetic cabochon sapphire attributed to Cartier Paris circa 1940.
Although this piece is not signed or has rubbed inventory marks it was purchased from a gentleman whose father worked in the Paris workshops. Identical Cartier pieces are well documented.
