A beautifully preserved early Georgian diamond pendant, dating to circa 1740 and crafted in rich yellow gold. The jewel is set with rose-cut diamonds in closed-back settings, a defining feature of 18th-century jewellery that lends the stones an especially soft, atmospheric brilliance.
Rose-cut diamonds were prized for their gently domed profiles and broad, light-catching facets.
