A striking Maxlume green enamel parabolic light shade, circa 1950, newly fitted with a bronze lamp-holder and black fabric flex. Its generously proportioned, gently flared form directs light downward while creating a warm, focused pool of illumination-equally effective above a dining table, kitchen island, desk, or workbench.

The rich green enamel finish gives the shade a particularly handsome industrial character, while the clean parabolic profile and restrained detailing place it firmly within the practical, well-designed aesthetic of mid-century lighting. Its combination of durable enamelled metal, warm bronze fittings, and tailored black flex makes for a versatile and considered finish that sits comfortably in both period and contemporary interiors.

The original manufacturer's stamp remains visible on some examples, adding an appealing note of authenticity and provenance; however, it is not present on every shade. As with all original industrial lighting, minor variations in surface finish, enamel wear, and markings should be expected, contributing to the individuality of each piece.

A handsome and functional mid-century pendant light with strong visual presence, ideal for introducing colour, texture, and authentic industrial character to an interior.
